I cannot tell my friends here how saddened I am by my friends passing.

I have been numb all day since I read ghost's post on corvettevalley.

Didier has such an electric personality.

I am truly lucky to have been able to meet Didier in person and shake
his hand this past summer when he and Pascale and his childred visited my home in Illinois.

I met Didier through this site and his visits to corvettevalley. When I first met him, Didier was asking about the cost of service manuals for his C5
coupe, and he was quoting some astronomical prices that people wanted
to send them to him in Le Blanc Mesnil, the suburb of Paris where
Didier's home is.

I found a set of manuals on ebay, bought them, and then shipped them to "crazy burner".

When they arrived at his house, this is what he sent me....

Here is a picture of Didier, Pascale and the "kids" eating a big
rib-eye, fresh tomatoes, and corn on the cob at my house - they had
never seen corn on the cob before lol....they all waited to see what I
would do with that hunk of corn lol.......

I am just in shock.

My sincere condolences to all of Didier's friends and anyone else who's life was brightened by being privileged to have met and known Mr. Revenue.

Hit your apex's hard, Didier.

J'ai été choqué quand Richard m'a appelé avec les nouvelles. Je ne peux pas encore les croire. Didier était un homme aimable et généreux. Il sera manqué par ceux de nous qui l'ont connu, chez la personne et par ceux qui l'ont seulement connu de l'Internet.

I was shocked when Richard called me with the news. I still cannot believe it.
Didier was a kind, generous man. He will be missed by those of us who knew him, both in person and by those who only knew him from the Internet.

I was heartbroken to hear this news of Burner. I am so sorry about this and my heart goes out to his family and friends.

Corvette Valley will be closed on Friday to remember him.

We will miss him but he will always be a part of our family. Thanks Burner for being you. We love ya!
