TROSZYNCKI in America!!!

I met Robert and his wife last Friday at his hotel here in Fort Lauderdale. He presented me with a nice gift of chocolate for my fiancee Karen, and a post card of the Champs Elysee, where Karen and I will stay this Christmas.

Monday evening, all of us went to dinner at a nice little Italian restaurant. Between the little French that I know and the little English that Robert knows, we had a very good time.

Every Friday, there is a car show near my home. If I can get Robert on the telephone, we will go this Friday. multiple

Robert brought plenty of Euros with him and he exchanged some Euros for Dollars for me at a very good rate in preparation for our trip to Paris at Christmas! Thanks Robert!

It's amazing the the friendships that can happen when people have a common interest. In this case the Corvette brought us together.

Robert says that when Karen and I come to Paris for Christmas, we'll get together one day for lunch. I'm looking forward to that too!

We arrive the morning of December 21 (09h15 if I remember correctly) at CDG airport. We depart on the afternoon of the 27th. We have a very flexible schedule. This is our first trip to France and Paris, so of course we will have to do some of the tourist things, la Tour Eiffel, l'Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre and the Musee D'Orsay, and Notre Dame. On sunday, we are going for dinner here:

We plan to walk to as many places as we can. I realize that it is Christmas time and most of you will be busy with family, but it would be great to see some Corvette friends from France for those who live near Paris. The French and Americans have historically been great friends, having helped each other very much through the years.

There are 2 or 3 people in here living in paris, but for some it's gonna be a bit more difficult to come, some of us are from deep south of France, others are even not French (me for example, a lil belgian dumbass )


ps : yeah, and Gilles is specialized too in fake 50th anniversary Vettes ... (don't worry if u don't understand, it's a private joke :p ) ...

bon je constate que tu as bien profité de ton voyage en Floride. Peut être au 23/12, car je devais partir quelques jours.

Bonjour Robert. Je suis heureux vous l'ai rendu à la France sans risque ! Karen et moi serons là en moins d'un mois ! Ce sera des vacances chères... 1.4862 Euro à 1 dollar... Merci de l'échange. Quoi qu'il en soit, c'est seulement argent, correct ? Venu facile, facile disparaissent......
